The Monte Vista Cooperative Dedication to Education Foundation
The Monte Vista Coop Dedication to Education Foundation was instituted to establish scholarships to assist students with financial support to the college of their choice. The scholarships are in honor of our Co-Op’s founding members and in remembrance of Dennis Kay and Mike Kelley; former employees who whole-heartedly believed in our young people. Westen is the son of Nate and Michelle Burkhart of Del Norte, CO. Westen graduated from Sargent High School. Westen is planning to be an FFA officer for the State of Colorado, following his term as an officer he plans to attend NJC in Sterling, Colorado.
Sienna Gallegos
Mike Kelley Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Sienna is the daughter of Angelica Valdez, Armando Valdez, and Troy Gallegos. She graduated from Centauri High School. Sienna will be attending CSU in Fort Collins in the fall, where she will major in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish.
